The Living Archive MK First World War Centenary Project - funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund in 2014 - will provide teaching and independent learning resources here. These will be available free of charge, with a preview and the option to download as a pack for educational purposes.
The strength of the Living Archive MK WW1 collection lies in its primary sources and eyewitness accounts. Learning resources include diaries, letters, audio interviews and newspaper reports by those who lived through the Great War in Milton Keynes's older communities (Wolverton, New Bradwell, Stony Stratford, Bletchley, Fenny Stratford).
Topics planned are as follows:
Contact the Education Officer, Helen O'Hara, for specific requests or if you wish to be a resource-tester.
