- Download the most suitable printable resources for your class's age and ability. Intended for flexible use to support your Local Study topic.
- There are .jpg images, mp3 audio clips of 2 minutes or so (more at bottom of this page, listen online only) and .pdf files of news articles, letters and transcripts of Milton Keynes school log books.
- They give insights into daily life in school, children's important contributions to the War Effort, family income and charity fund-raising.
- Save into a resource folder on your school server or VLE, print in colour for independent work and laminate, use online on a Smartboard.

- There are .jpg images, mp3 audio clips of interviews and songs (2 min or less) and Adobe pdfs of news articles, letters, transcripts of diaries.
- They give insights into daily life on the Home Front and local people's generous contributions of funds and time to the War effort and charity.

- These mp3 audio clips may take a small amount of time to download. They should be played online, straight from the website.
- All are valuable first hand accounts by local interviewees in the 1970s and 1980s of real events in WW1, recorded by Living Archive MK. Some are songs using their own words, written for Living Archive documentary drama productions such as Days of Pride or Nellie and Albert.
- From 1 to 3 minutes long, they are ideal for lesson starters, discussion and debate about opinions, assemblies or Citizenship lessons.
